About Me

Introduction

My name is Michael Cardwell and I operate as a sole trader. I'm a time served, qualified joiner with over 15 years experience.

I initially trained in bench joinery (making doors, windows and stairs from raw materials).

Progression

After many years of working for local joinery manufacturers I set up and ran a sucessful joinery workshop of my own and fitted the majority of the products I made.

After much deliberation I felt I needed to move on and learn some new skills. I began working as a cabinet maker for a local bespoke furniture manufacturer.

Today

After gaining extra skills and knowledge in furniture making and interior carpentry I feel I'm in a position to offer a broader service to my customers. I make my own joinery items and furniture when applicable ensuring continuation of quality from start to finish. I also source from trusted third parties where necessary and always provide the highest level of service.
